Welcome:
"Division 17" is an initiative that began in 1998 with the objective
of ensuring that telecommunication systems are "designed into" a building
during the design phase of the project versus the more traditional method of
"retrofitting" it into the building while it is being constructed.
The MasterFormat™ Expansion Task Team has completed it's work on MasterFormat 2004.
We are pleased to inform you that the MasterFormat 2004 includes three new divisions related to the information that was proposed in Division 17. These three Divisions are:
25 - Integrated Automation
27 - Communications and
28 - Electronic Safety and Security
